Those interested in a career in the medical marijuana industry will have their shot today at Southern University. The college is hosting a job fair for it’s medical marijuana program starting at 4pm. Saints QB Drew Brees intends to practice with the team this week ahead of their Week 8 clash with the Cardinals this Sunday.  In an interview with WWL Radio, Brees says his return to the field is near.

Lake Charles police find a car stuck inside of Oak Park Elementary cafeteria after responding to reports of a vehicle crash at the school. Police have cited the driver of the vehicle with reckless operation after interviewing them. They say the driver was there to drop off a kid at school and thought the vehicle was in reverse when they pumped the pedal, and went flying through the building.
