According to officials, two students from Central High had to be removed from class and sent to the hospital Monday after having a bad reaction to synthetic marijuana they smoked at school. The Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in finding a vehicle that hit and killed a man in Albany over the weekend. Deputies say they found 27-year-old Cleveland Barnes, Jr. of Tickfaw in the road and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities believe Barnes was run over by a vehicle that fled the scene.
