American Cancer Society volunteers from Louisiana and many other states are in Washington, D.C, today rallying for more funding for cancer research. Director of the LSU Health Stanley S. Scott Cancer Center, Augusto Ochoa, says Louisiana has one of the highest rates of death by cancer in the country….:

Louisiana State Police has arrested a 73-year-old Slidell man on 500 counts of Possession of Child Pornography. Not sure who will start at quarterback for the LSU Tigers this Saturday when they host Mississippi State. Danny Etling performed well in the 2nd quarter last weekend, sparking the Tigers to a 34-13 victory over Jacksonville State. Brandon Harris struggled against Wisconsin and in the first quarter against the Gamecocks. But Coach Les Miles has no regrets about not playing Etling against the Badgers. He added he’s confident that running back Leonard Fournette will be able to return to play Saturday.
