According to rankings from U.S. News & World Report, LSU is in the top tier for best universities in the nation coming in at number 63 out of 190. The flagship university for Louisiana was also ranked high in career earnings of graduates, with about $52,000 starting income, and mid-career salaries of over $100,000.
