The Department of Wildlife and Fisheries says the body of a Houma man has been found after a boating accident in St. Mary Parish yesterday. Spokesman Adam Einck says a father and son were traveling in the Intracoastal Waterway 9AM Sunday…:

He says 64-year-old Wallace Bailey Sr. was pulled from the water by witnesses but his 38-year-old son, Bailey Jr., never resurfaced. His body was recovered this morning.

The Shreveport Police Department says they are investigating a two-vehicle crash which claimed the life of a 35-year-old man on I-49. They say Elton Anderson was traveling south when his car hit a pickup and lost control. The victim was not restrained and was ejected and thrown over the interstate barrier falling about 30 feet. Anderson was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The Department of Health and Hospitals made a flier for Louisiana schools with information about the Ebola virus. Scott Carwile reports:
