Baton Rouge Police are currently looking for a suspect accused of sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl after taking her from a local park. Sgt. Mary Ann Godawa says it happened on December 13 when the girl was allegedly lured near the car of the suspect…:

She says the suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall with a medium to heavyset build and he could be driving a tan Nissan Maxima.
A weekend house fire in Alexandria has left two-year-old twins dead. The Alexandria Fire Department says the blaze was contained in the back of the home, where the twins bedroom was. The girls’ father was able to remove them from the fire. Both were taken to a local hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. The investigation is ongoing.

Gas prices keep skyrocketing down. The current statewide average for a gallon of regular dropped another 2 cents last night to $2.24 according to the American Automobile Association. That’s almost 14 cents less than this time last week and down 85 cents from last Christmas.
