Pineville Police have made an arrest in the stabbing death of 42-year-old Latish White, who was found early Wednesday morning near the Pineville Expressway. 29-year-old Matthew Sonnier of Pineville was taken into custody around midnight in Alexandria. Pineville Deputy Police Chief Darrell Basco says Sonnier was a known acquaintance of White and the two were together at the time of her death…

KNOE-TV reports salmonella poisoning could be the cause of a mass illness that’s affected about two-hundred people in Caldwell Parish. Many vicitims began complaining of symptoms at about the same time on Monday night. The Speculation is that those who came down with the illness ate from the same pot of jambalaya at a charity softball event.
