Tomorrow is election day and supporters and opponents make their last case to voters on Amendment Two which require unanimous jury verdicts in felony cases…

State Police is investigating a fatal crash involving an on-duty Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s deputy. Troopers say 23-year-old Craig Guillory of Lake Charles was traveling east on LA Highway 3020 and hit a pedestrian, who was wearing dark colored clothing. 31-year-old Jessie Blanchard of Iowa suffered serious injuries and died as a result of the crash.

Tomorrow, voters head to the polls to cast their ballots, but there hasn’t been much publicity for the election of a new Secretary of State. Political analyst Bernie Pinsonat says early voting totals were strong for a mid-term election and hopefully voters did their homework on the nine candidates in that statewide race…
