Tomorrow is election day in Louisiana as polls open at 7 AM and close at 8 PM. Voters in every parish will have a chance to vote on the Secretary of State’s race. A state judge rules that the builders of the Bayou Bridge pipeline must pay 450 dollars to three property owners in St. Martin Parish for trespassing, but they still had the right to seize the land under the state’s eminent domain laws. The 162-mile pipeline from Lake Charles to St. James is nearly completed.
