Baton Rouge Police have arrested three women in connection with the assault of a Chili’s hostess.   Baton Rouge Police Sgt Don Coppola says it was public that stepped up and helped with the investigation.

48-year old Tammy Dabney is charged with aggravated second-degree battery, also arrested is 27-year old Rodneka Dabney and 46-year old Erica Dabney, both charged with disturbing the peace and simple battery.

US District Judge Martin Feldman is set to hear arguments in New Orleans today from 22 southeast Louisiana bar owners, attempting to stop enforcement of bar closures. Legal analyst Tim Meche says the owners could be looking for success in finding the order unconstitutional when it closes down certain businesses while letting others operate.
