Today is the second day of confirmation hearings for Health and Human Services Secretary nominee Robert F Kennedy Junior. Kennedy appeared in front of Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy’s committee, known as the Help committee. Cassidy questioned Kennedy about his stance on vaccines, asking if him if he thought measles and Hepatitis B vaccines caused autism.

Calvary Baptist head football coach Rodney Guin is the New Orleans Saints nominee for the Don Shula NFL High School Coach of the Year. Guin, led the Cavaliers to a semifinal appearance in 2024 and in 2023 he directed Calvary Baptist to a state championship. He’ll find out this week if he’s the national coach of the year and he’s also getting two Super Bowl tickets.
