U-L System President Jim Henderson will reportedly be named today as the next president of Louisiana Tech today, replacing the retiring Les Guice. The U-L System already has authority over Tech and eight other universities and the U-L System board is meeting at this hour to discuss hiring Henderson as President of U-L system.

With election day coming up on Saturday, candidates have only a few more days to energize their base and get undecided voters on their side. Jeanne Burns has the story…

Walker High School Principal Jason St. Pierre, who revoked Kaylee Timonet’s (Tim-oh-net) scholarship and kicked her off student government after a video of her dancing at a private party, is taking leave for the remainder of the school year. St. Pierre has apologized and has reinstated the scholarship endorsement, but Timonet disagrees.

After beating Missouri 49-39 on Saturday night, LSU moved up one spot to number 22 in the latest A-P poll. It didn’t look good early on for the Bayou Bengals as they trailed 22-7, but in the second half, allowing just two touchdowns. Coach Brian Kelly hopes that unit has turned a corner…
