Colorado State University warns Louisianans that the forecast for the 2020 Atlantic Hurricane Season has been upgraded to very active from initial projections of an above-average season. CSU forecaster Jhordanne Jones says they now predict there are fairly strong odds of a major hurricane making landfall on the Gulf Coast.
The forecast predicts the season will see another 16 named storms, nine hurricanes, and four major hurricanes.
