The State Department of Corrections confirms that serial killer Derrick Todd Lee has died. Spokeswoman Pam Laborde…:

Lee was 47. He was convicted in the murders of two women and suspected in the deaths of five other women and sentenced to death in 2004 and has been on death row at Angola since then. Lee was taken to the hospital due to a medical condition earlier this week. Officials could not confirm any additional details on the death of Lee other than to say that an autopsy would be performed to determine the exact cause of death. Multiple sources reported this week that Lee was suffering complications with a pace maker. Once again, serial killer Derrick Todd Lee has died.
