No arrests have been announced and Lafayette PD has released the name of the officer who was shot.

One person is dead and another person was seriously wounded in a shooting that took place on I-20 in Shreveport just after midnight. Shreveport P-D Corporal Angie Willhite says when officers arrived, they spotted a green SUV stopped on the inside wall…

The search is on for the shooter or shooters. The deceased victim has been identified as 22-year-old Kenyon Frazier.

Starting next year fall, freshmen will be required to live on the LSU campus. Assistant Vice President for Residential Life, Steve Waller, says LSU has built up its housing capacity, so they can accomidate all freshmen who live more than 50 miles away and are not married or have children…
