New Orleans Children’s Hospital has been ranked 32nd among the country’s best-specialized hospitals for pediatrics for the third year in a row by Newsweek. LSU board of supervisors is meeting this morning to approve a new contract for Baseball Coach Jay Johnson. The new contract will make Johnson the second highest-paid baseball coach in the country earning $12.5 million. Last season he led the Tigers baseball program to a national championship.
