One of the reasons the GOP is happy with tax reform is the change afforded to businesses in trying to urge corporations to come back to the U.S.  Brandon Legarde with the Society of Louisiana CPAs says his office is still trying to determine how all the tax breaks will benefit businesses and if they will be able to get around some of the new laws…

Now that Daylight Saving Time has ended, it’s getting darker earlier.  State Farm insurance wants to remind people to watch out for deer while driving.  State Farm Spokesman Kip Diggs says it’s important to drive with your high beams on as frequently as possible because the earlier you see a deer, the more time you have to avoid a crash. He reminds motorists that they also travel in packs.

Lt. Governor Billy Nungesser and 10 Louisiana chefs are in New York City to prepare the Bayou State’s world-class food and give the Big Apple a taste of what we have to offer. Chefs like Cory Bahr, Bonnie Breaux and Jay Ducote are joining the lt. governor on this trip. Nungesser says 60 interviews will be conducted with the chefs to talk about all things Louisiana, as they are from every corner of the state.
