A West Monroe High School teacher has been charged with indecent behavior with a minor. The Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office 32-year-old Tatum Hatch allegedly had an improper relationship with one of her students and sent the victim inappropriate messages via Instagram.
Governor Jeff Landry is pushing for closed primary elections. Voters would have to be registered with a political party to vote in that party’s primary. Landry believes if voters want their vote to county they should register with the party of their choice.
While redrawing the state’s congressional districts at the special session lawmakers could also debate changing to closed primary elections.
