Jacquemin says most of the state will see one to two inches of rain on Sunday, but south of I-10 and I-12 could see two to three inches of rain.
And with the rain in the forecast, Festival of the Bonfires organizers made the difficult decision to reschedule the event to Saturday night. St. James Parish President Pete Dufresne understands the change is still inconvenient when so many have already made plans in advance.
