One of the state’s  better performing school systems is trying something new and that’s not assigning homework to its students. LaSalle Parish School Superintendent Jonathan Garrett says the thinking behind this is that students will come to school every morning ready to learn, if they were not up late the night before completing their homework assignment. Garrett says they’ve received some positive feedback on the no homework policy…
