During today’s SEC teleconference, Coach Ed Orgeron announced that freshman tight end Arick Gilbert is opting out for the reason of the season. Orgeron hopes that Gilbert will return to the Tigers next season. There are reports the Georgia native is homesick and also banged up from his first season of college football. The Tigers are at 6th ranked Florida on Saturday.
