State officials want to bring Doctor Margaret Daley Carpenter of New York to Louisiana to face charges of sending abortion-inducing drugs to a family in West Baton Rouge Parish. But her extradition is on hold, because New York has laws that say a doctor can not be criminally charged for mailing abortion pills. Legal analyst Franz Borghardt says we are at a stalemate and he doesn’t expect any movement in the case for a while….

A Texas judge has fined Doctor Carpenter 100-thousand dollars for providing abortions pills to women in Texas.
The Trump Administration has approved an LNG export license for the Commonwealth LNG project in Cameron Parish. The company will make a final decision on investment in September. But Louisiana Energy Export Partners spokesperson Randy Hayden says it’s a big move for all proposed LNG plants…
