An arrest has been made in connection with the death of a Kansas City sports reporter in New Orleans was covering the Super Bowl. Kenner Police have taken Danette Colbert into custody after he allegedly used 27-year-old Adan Manzano’s credit card at several stores in the New Orleans area. Currently Colbert is only facing property crimes, but police say she has a history of drugging men.

Especially in light of what happened New Year’s Day, security along Bourbon Street is tighter than it’s ever been before…

Shreveport Police say two teenagers survived a harrowing experience when they accepted a ride from a stranger and instead of being driven home, they were taken to a local hotel room. Corporal Chris Bordelon says Jeffrey Reed did not allow the teens to leave, once he got them in that hotel room…

Bordelon says one of the teens did escape and alerted authorities who rushed to the hotel and arrested Reed.

Crawfish lovers gearing up for a Super Bowl weekend boil can expect lower prices than anticipated. Following a historic snowstorm, supply has rebounded, driving prices down by about a dollar per pound. Crawfish App Founder Laney King says live crawfish on average will run you $4.79 per pound.
