A Franklin woman has been arrested in connection with an accident in St Mary Parish that killed a toddler. 27-year-old Grace Loustaloot was the driver of the vehicle than ran off the roadway and overturned in a ditch. Two-year-old Temperence Finster was not properly restrained and was ejected. Loustaloot is charged with vehicular homicide, two counts of first degree vehicular negligent injuring and possession of narcotics.
Three state police troopers have been placed on paid administrative leave amid allegations of claiming overtime on hours they never actually worked.
