Today’s the last day of early voting in Louisiana for the December 7th election.  You can cast your ballot through six o’clock this evening.  Remember to bring your photo ID or signature on a voter affidavit.   Election Day is next Saturday.

 

If you’re heading out to do some holiday shopping this morning, don’t forget today is Small Business Saturday.  Leah Long, the state director of the National Federation of Independent Business, says the holiday season is something that means a lot to small business owners who depend on their neighbors for their livelihoods.

Speaking of shopping, experts say this holiday season brings unique challenges for shoppers and retailers. Despite economic uncertainties, consumers are expected to spend more this year than last year. LSU marketing professor Dan Rice says online shopping continues to rise, with 57 percent of shoppers planning online purchases.
