The dangers of hazing have become an important conversation in the wake of LSU freshman Max Gruver’s death. Gruver was pledging at Phi Delta Theta and high amounts of alcohol were found in his system. A new 25-member panel will meet in Baton Rouge tomorrow to discuss a recent survey which found that 65-percent of Louisiana parents believe the state places too much emphasis on student testing. Louisiana Association of Educators’ Debbie Meaux says it’s important to keep the focus on education:
