Franklin Parish continues to mourn the loss of Tyrell Cameron, the Franklin Parish High School football player who lost his life after an injury during a game last Friday. Visitation for Cameron will be held this evening with funeral services scheduled for Saturday afternoon at River of Life Church in Winnsboro. The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles will not change their policies regarding photo IDs following an incident where a transgender woman was denied a new ID. State Police Superintendent Col. Mike Edmonson says the policy allowing clerks to question individuals about how they represent themselves in order to prevent fraud will remain in place. However, Edmonson says transgender people will be allowed to take their photo as they appear every day.
