There’s been quite a shakeup in the 2015 Governor’s Race as Public Service Commission Member Scott Angelle announces candidacy. He joins fellow Republicans Senator David Vitter and Lt. Governor Jay Dardenne. Political analyst Clancy Dubos says on thing separates Angelle from Dardenne and Vitter and it’s personality…:

Police say a University of Louisiana at Lafayette say linebacker Christian Hill was arrested this week for domestic abuse battery. Campus Police made the arrest but no other details on the charges were immediately available. The Advertiser reports the team announced Hill is suspended indefinitely from the team as the result of an off-field incident.
In the latest national effort to get people to stop texting and driving, the Louisiana Public Service Commission wants motorists to use the hashtag symbol and the letter X in a text message to friends before they start driving.
