The Louisiana Secretary of State’s Office says nearly 236,000 registered voters participated in early voting according to early statistics released this morning. Orleans Parish led the way with just over 18,000 early voters followed by East Baton Rouge Parish with over 17,500 participating. Approximately 6.5% of Louisiana registered voters took advantage of early voting. If you did not vote early, election day is Tuesday.
