State Police say an officer involved shooting Monday in Houma has left a 45-year-old theft suspect dead. They say during a pursuit, a tire deflation device was used to stop the man’s vehicle. When the suspect emerged, he pointed a gun at police officers who then shot him. The suspect’s identity has not been released. This is the third officer involved shooting in Louisiana in as many days.
