The House Judiciary Committee meets again this morning to review articles of impeachment drafted this weekend by Democrats. Judiciary Committee member and Benton Congressman Mike Johnson says we could see a resolution soon. A protracted impeachment process could pull Democrat presidential contenders off the campaign trail.
A good number of Louisianans who get SNAP food benefits may lose them soon, under tighter, new work requirements enacted by the USDA & the Trump white House. The state Department of Children & Family Services says it’s unclear how many of the over 800-thousand who gert food stamps may lose them for not meeting the work requirements.

Work on widening and improving portions of I-12 is scheduled to begin before the end of the year….

Louisiana Tech is heading to a bowl game for a sixth consecutive season and they won;t have to travel far. The Bulldogs will face Miami in the Walk On’s Independence Bowl on December 26th at Independence Stadium in Shreveport.
LSU faces Oklahoma in the Peach Bowl, December 28th in Atlanta.
