Today is game day at LSU and the school is putting some extra tailgate policies in place a week after freshman Max Gruver died in an alleged hazing incident. For today, all Greek organizations will be barred from gathering on the parade grounds on campus. The groups can resume activities tomorrow, but the university says there will still be a crack down at future tailgates.
Meanwhile, Governor John Bel Edwards sent a letter to public university leaders across the state, asking them to review their hazing, alcohol, and drug policies for student organizations. He does not want to see another student die as a result of a possible hazing incident…:
