Bossier City Police say a man arrested on a cruelty to a juvenile charge after critically injuring his infant daughter now faces a murder charge. Authorities allege that 27-year-old Sean Christopher Morton injured 3-month-old Malaysia Morton while trying to get the baby to stop crying. Hospital officials say Malaysia suffered injuries consistent with shaken baby syndrome. The infant died Monday from her injuries. Morton now faces a charge of second degree murder.
