Southeastern Louisiana University has new scholarships available to attract high achieving students. Senior Director of University Marketing Mike Rivault says SLU has always been ranked highly in terms of graduating students with low debt. He says they created this scholarship to applaud students who performed well in high school and will continue that in college…:

Students with an ACT score of 30 or higher could receive the highest scholarship amount, which is 7-thousand dollars.

The LSU fraternity pledge who suddenly died in what cops have called a possible hazing incident, may have been forced to drink in excess during an initiation game called, “Bible Study.” Newly released police reports say that pledges at the Phi Delta Theta house had to drink if they incorrectly answered questions about the group the night before 18-year-old Maxwell Gruver died.

Beginning November 2018, Norwegian Breakaway will homeport in New Orleans to offer Caribbean cruises for the winter season. It will be the largest ship to ever sail from the Port of New Orleans. Port spokesman Donnell Jackson says the Norwegian Breakaway will sail seven, ten and 11 day seasonal cruises…:
