Shreveport Police have arrested a man they say fired a shot that left another man hospitalized with life-threatening injuries. According to authorities, 23-year-old Brandon Brown mishandled a gun and it discharged. The bullet hit the victim in the neck. Brown is charged with illegal use of a firearm. Investigators say it’s too early to rule the shooting as accidental.

More freezing temperatures are expected for Louisiana after a slight warming trend yesterday. State Climatologist Barry Keim expects temperatures to drop below freezing again tonight and says Wednesday will be a carbon copy of Tuesday with another hard freeze expected…
