Tropical Depression 9 is continuing its path toward the Florida Gulf Coast and is expected to strengthen. The National Hurricane Center has issued watches and warnings saying the storm could be near hurricane strength when it makes landfall probably Thursday afternoon. Sad news out of the Salvation Army in Lafayette. The center was robbed and during a time when the charity is trying to collect items for flood victims in the area.
