Louisiana’s statewide average is currently the sixth lowest in the country with the average price for a gallon of regular at $2.62. Nick Chabarria with Triple-A says this is the time of year when gas prices typically start to come down and he says gas prices have remained relatively low this year – not just in Louisiana but all across the country.
