The investigation into a fatal officer involved shooting in Pineville has determined it was justified. Rapides Parish Sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Tommy Carnline says the officer responded to a call and was confronted with the suspect brandishing a large sword. He says the cop was in immediate danger and the use of deadly force is not something any of them want to do and this situation could have been avoided…:
