Investigators are piecing together the strange case of an abandoned baby born to a 13-year-old girl. Baker Police Chief Carl Dunn says the teen secretly gave birth in her room then dropped off the infant on a school teacher’s front porch…:

The child weighed 5 pounds and 12 ounces and is now in the custody of the state.

Meanwhile the Department of Children and Family Services announces a new website which mothers can use to find Safe Haven locations. Child Protective Services Program Manager Mona Michelli says, by law, a baby less than 60 days old can be anonymously relinquished at designated sites:
