Governor John Bel Edwards is set to make a major economic development announcement this afternoon. In a release, the news was called “one of the most significant economic development announcements in Louisiana history.” It gave no other information other than location and time, 2pm at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.

The State Department of Health is saying that Attorney General Jeff Landry is not speaking truth in blaming Medicaid Expansion on fueling the opioid epidemic. L-D-H Chief of Staff Andrew Tuozzollo says there is solid data that shows the state has been successful at limiting painkiller prescriptions…:
