A Jefferson Parish veterinarian has been arrested on animal cruelty and drug charges after reportedly shooting and killing a neighbor’s dog. Sheriff Joe Lopinto says 35-year-old Kelly Folse said she killed the 15-month-old American Bulldog due to excessive barking.
