There’s a report going around that Walk On’s Bistreaux & Bar will be the new title sponsor for the Independence Bowl. The I-Bowl Foundation invited the media to attend a special announcement tomorrow at the Walk-On’s in Shreveport. Former LSU running back, Jacob Hester, a partner in the restaurant tweeted that the establishment was the new sponsor, but has since deleted it.

After a bye week, the Ragin Cajuns get back to work as they’ll face Idaho for a four PM kick-off Saturday. UL-Lafayette started its season with a win over Southeastern Louisiana, but they’ve lost three straight, including a double-overtime defeat in their last game against ULM.
