Meanwhile, pitcher Eric Walker’s season is likely over, coach Paul Mainieri announced Tuesday. The freshman will undergo an MRI on his right arm when the team returns to Baton Rouge.

In other CWS action, Florida picked up a 5-1 victory over Louisville Tuesday. The Gators have won their first two games in Omaha for the first time in their four appearances, and will play Friday in the bracket 2 final against the winner of the Louisville/TCU elimination game tomorrow.
