Brees had 389 yards passing on the day and it is the 21st time in his career that he’s thrown at least four touchdowns without any interceptions.
The rumors about Payton being traded to another team are back again this year. CBS Sports reported Sunday morning that league sources are saying The Saints would consider the move; but that the asking price would be lower than last season’s. Payton did not comment on the speculation after Sunday’s win.
