In college football news…Louisiana Tech is looking for a new offensive line coach. Matt Moore has left the Bulldog program for a job at Troy University, where he’ll be the co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach for the Trojans. Moore has been with Tech the las two seasons.
Louisiana Tech wide receiver Hunter Lee has been named a recipient of the Conference USA Spirit of Service Award. The award is designed to recognize the community service efforts of C-USA’s student-athletes. Lee and the Bulldogs are prepping to take on the University of Illinois in the Zaxby’s Heart of Dallas Bowl on December 26th.
Last night in college basketball action: UL-Lafayette crushed Milligan College 115-76 and 16th ranked Washington steamrolled Grambling 86-38.
Tonight, Nicholls State travels to Ruston to take on Louisiana Tech. The Colonels are coming off their second win of the season, an 81-75 victory over Arkansas-Monticello, while Tech comes into tonight’s matchup having lost two straight to UL-Lafayette and Syracuse. The Bulldogs are 15-2 all-time against Nicholls.
The LSU Tiger basketball team returns to action as they travel to Bartow Arena to take on the University of Alabama-Birmingham. LSU is looking for their fourth consecutive win and second win on a non-conference opponents home court. Tip off is scheduled for just after 8PM and will be televised on the CBS Sports Network.
