LSU Football Coach Brian Kelly tells reporters at SEC Media Days that the offensive line needs to improve the most between now and the start of the season. The Tigers need to replace four starters, but Kelly says two players from the transfer portal, Tre’Mond Shorts and Miles Frazier bring depth and experience to the position..:

There is some concern LSU has lost ground in recruiting because the school is underfunded when it comes to finding name, image and likeness deals for its football players. But Kelly believes they are as competitive as anybody else..:

The Tigers open the season against Florida State in New Orleans on September 4th.

Four Louisiana Tech Bulldogs were selected on Day Two of the 2022 MLB Draft. Ryan Jennings, Kyle Crigger, Taylor Young and Cade Gibson made history as the most Bulldogs selected in the first 10 rounds.

Paul Gervase, one of LSU’s top relief pitchers, announced on Twitter he’s going to return to the Tigers for another season. In his first season in Baton Rouge, the 6 foot 10 pitcher was tied for second on the team in appearances with 29 and went 4-1 with a 1.85 ERA. On Monday the Tigers saw Eric Reyzelman, one of their top pitchers last season, drafted in the fifth round of the 2022 MLB Draft by the New York Yankees.

Many linebacker Tackett Curtis announced Monday his commitment to USC. As a junior Curtis racked up 103 tackles including 12.5 stops for loss and an interception.
