New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara was arrested on a battery allegation Sunday after an incident at a nightclub, according to the Las Vegas Police Department. Kamara was in Sin City to play in the NFL Pro Bowl Sunday. Cops said someone told them they were being treated for injuries caused by a battery by Kamara on Saturday night. Records show Kamara is slated to be in court this afternoon after posting $5,000 bond.
According to a report from ESPN NFL insider Jeremy Fowler, Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy had a lengthy interview with the Saints on Sunday, as New Orleans gets to work on narrowing their search for a head coach.
Who would have thought that after starting the season 1-12 that the New Orleans Pelicans would now be the 10th seed in the Western Conference with a chance to make the playoffs. The Pels won their third straight game last night over Houston, 120-107 with Brandon Ingram nabbing 33 points and 12 assists.
The struggles continue for the LSU men’s basketball team as the Fighting Tigers lost to Vanderbilt 75-66 on Saturday. The Commodores led by as many as 21 points in the second half and knocked down 13 three-pointers, while LSU only made three-three pointers.
