Today is a statewide day of prayer for law enforcement. Governor Bobby Jindal is hosting a public prayer rally at the Capitol at 11:30 this morning where residents can gather to pray for the men and women serving the state. Senator David Vitter, who is also running for governor, has written another letter to New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu, calling on him to come up with a written action plan which addresses the crime problem in the city.
