US Senator David Vitter gave his farewell speech on the Senate floor Monday. Vitter says as a Louisiana state legislator he worked to impose term limits here, and also authored similar legislation for Congress. He says that’s why he’s imposing one on himself…:

The jury in the murder trial of the man accused of shooting and killing former Saints player will Smith has been selected. Jurors, who will remain sequestered, were seated Monday night. Lawyers say the trial of Cardell Hayes, who is charged with second degree murder, could last 7-10 days.
